Consumer Additions are currently retained to secure a Chief Financial Officer to join the senior management team of a rapidly growing, Beauty and Lifestyle business.
The business is a Private Equity backed and performing strongly with the aim to take the business from £45m to £60m in the next two years and then go through a transaction. They are looking to grow through new products, international and existing DTC channels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall finance strategy and execution, ensuring the business has sufficient resources to achieve sales and profitability growth objectives in the short & long term. The CFO will also be responsible for the company's IT, legal, and HR aspects.
The successful candidate MUST have experience of D2C or ecommerce, ideally with international experience and a track record of selling a business (preference)

Key role requirements:
- Partner with the CEO and other senior executives to provide financial insights and guidance to help formulate strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Evaluate business opportunities, including distribution deals, price increases, partnerships, and new product launches.
- Responsible for the financial due diligence and legal preparations facilitating exit strategies.
- Improving ways of working to enhance agility & speed to market.
- Oversee the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Implement internal controls and financial procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Oversee the legal and compliance aspects of HR.
- Lead fundraising efforts and manage investor relationships, including our private equity partner.
- Working closely with the US Country Lead to ensure they achieve the business plan and profitability objectives in North America.
Person Requirements:
- Omni-channel consumer products experience.
- Proven track record of driving profitability.
- Previous experience operating in an SME (£50 - £150 million revenue).
- Experience in overseeing IT and business systems.
- Transaction experience.
- Private Equity (PE) experience.
Package:
- Salary: Significant six figure
- Bonus: 30% (potential to over perform – based on EBITDA levels and personal targets)
- Equity: Significant upside – potentially within a short period.
- Location: Hybrid working – London based. Potentially required to travel to regional offices a couple of time per month
