FP&A Manager
Contract: 6 Month FTC
Salary: DOE and Qualifications
Location: Central London
Responsibilities:
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across our key business
- Reporting, analysis (both regular and ad-hoc) and insights on weekly, monthly and annual performance
- Review and overhaul of current business KPIs and reporting, working alongside key stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop more meaningful information, with continual improvement and evolution
- Maintain forecasting tools, including rolling financial model, and annual budgeting process for both the UK, US and France, reviewing and challenging assumptions and ensuring any known risks and opportunities are understood and communicated
- Support the Finance team by embedding wider budget discipline and process efficiency across the business.
- Work closely with the business to support implementation and development of new data solutions and systems alongside the Technology team
- Support to and cover for the Group Financial Controller on an ad hoc basis
- Support on the preparation of board packs and presentations based on inputs from the wider business
- Ad hoc investment appraisal to support both short- and long-term investment decisions, with post-investment appraisals to track performance versus original business case
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with Accounting qualification completed (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Ideally 5 years experience in a similar or transferrable role within a consumer goods or retail environment, either in industry or practice
- Very proficient in Excel - able to manipulate large datasets and use complex formulas, with experience of financial models
- Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Insight-driven communication skills and ability to present financial concepts to non-financial managers, building positive business relationships and working collaboratively
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Natural curiosity for improving things and proactively taking initiative
- Ability to work well under pressure and on tight deadlines, whilst able to prioritise across multiple tasks
- Ambitious, proactive, doer, hands on, keen to learn and develop personally, thriving in dynamic and fast paced environments
- Ideally previous experience with Business Central (Navision 365, PowerBI or Tableau)
- French speaker advantageous
